A place to make what matters

Oasis Collective brings artists, musicians, storytellers and creative thinkers together under one roof. Today that means three divisions: Artists, the 6:33 podcast and Films. Each is at an early stage of development.

Independence gives us the freedom to follow work that matters rather than work that merely performs, and to build slowly and well.

An oasis is where life collects in a dry place: where travellers stop, water is shared and things grow. We want to build something like that for creative people. A place to rest, to be sharpened, and to make work alongside others who care about the same things.

A song, a canvas, a conversation or a film can open a door that an argument can’t. Making things is one of the most honest ways to say what you believe and to explore what you don’t yet understand.

So we take craft seriously. We want the work to be beautiful, considered and worth returning to.

Oasis Collective is rooted in Christian faith. It shapes why we create, how we treat one another, and the questions we’re willing to ask. Our podcast takes its name from Matthew 6:33, “seek first the kingdom of God”, and that ordering of priorities runs through everything.

Faith here is a foundation, not a fence. We welcome people from all backgrounds to enjoy the work, join the conversation and explore meaningful collaboration.

We commit to telling stories honestly, crediting people properly, and being clear about how we work with each artist.

We would rather make fewer things well than many things quickly.

In time we hope to welcome more musicians and visual artists, along with photographers, designers and filmmakers, and to grow into further conversations, documentary series, exhibitions and events.

Different disciplines, one shared intent: to make work that adds something good to the world it enters.
